I started off on Illicit Encounters which is a UK dating site. The good thing is that there is level of membership that is completely free for females, but for males, the memberships fees are somewhat steep which is a huge barrier to entry for all but those who are wealthy so I thought it would be perfect to meet solvent real gentlemen. What I hadn't banked on was that these men were so pleasant and sophisticated that they insisted on going to the theatre, then dinner, then drinks and so forth, whereas I was just DTF right from the start assuming they looked alright!!!
I then moved across to Fabswingers and let's just say, as long as you have some form of internet connection, you can be a member. It's certainly an active site, however as single female, I drank an awful lot of coffee and a lot of men were sent away disappointed.
